I have to say abig thank youto Terry and Janet for entrusting mewith their treasured publication. My husband Justin and I always have the latest issue sitting in our kitchen and it has held the answer to many a 'what shall we do today?' pondering. When not visiting the shops, fairs and auctions featured in this magazine,I am a freelance designer and (alongside my brother) I am the 5th generation owner of an 137-year-old wallpaper shop. Justin and I are both keen Lindy Hoppers and if you have an interest in the 1940s you may well spot us working at various museums and events throughout the summer with our 1942 Jeep.I can happily reassure you all that I have no plans to make big changes to the magazine. As I'm sure you'll agree, Collectors Companion is both usable and relevant and the most important thing is that it continues to be so. There will be the odd visual change and some additions over time, but as the saying goes – if it ain't broke, don't fix it!After 25 years and a landmark 100 editions, my wife and I (TJGraphics Ltd.) publishers of Collectors Companion magazine, are retiring from publishing. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of our readers and advertisers. You'll be delighted to know that this magazine will carry on as usual from edition CC101 under new management – namely Kara (see her intro above right). The paper this magazine is printed on is FSC accredited and is from sustainably managed forests & controlled sources.
